Illuminating Lights Face Palette
With a decadent array of luxe, glowing shades to illuminate the skin, introducing the star of the season, our Limited Edition Illuminating Lights Face Palette! This luxurious palette consists of six gorgeous, complementary mineral powders that create stunning, lit-from-within looks. Each colour is buildable and blendable for controlled intensity and can be applied for a subtle, soft result or built up for a more dramatic effect.
We'll take you through each of the shades and how you can use them!
Step 1 - Blush
The palette consists of two blush shades; Gleam, inspired by the existing blush colour Whisper, with an added “pop” of colour to create a beautiful shimmery light apricot hue – perfect for fair to medium skin tones. Using either the Blending/Contouring Brush or Dome Brush will deposit the perfect amount of pigment onto the cheeks. The beautiful Beam shade is a combination of existing blush colours Queen Bee and the blush in the Deep GreatShape Contour Kit to create a shimmering guava hue. It is excellent for your medium to deeper skin tones, but anyone can wear it, honestly!
Makeup Tip: Lighter skin tones might want to use the White Fan Brush for a softer application, whilst the Blending/Contouring Brush or Dome Brush will pick up and deposit more pigment. Both of these blush shades will brighten and flatter any complexion.
Step 2 - Highlight
The highlighter shades create subtle light on the high points of the face in two glamourous tones. Twinkle, shimmery sheer peach and Starlight, a shimmery sheer gold highlighter. Both are perfect for all skin tones and can be used on several face areas.
Makeup Tip: Sweep delicately onto cheekbones, across the collar bone or down the nose, with the Blending/Contouring Brush or White Fan Brush for a soft highlighting effect. For a more intense highlighting effect on the brow bone, using the Chisel Shader Brush add a spritz of one of our Hydration Sprays. Dab the brush into your powder, then apply it to the brow bone or mobile lid. This will create a rich and creamy liquid powder that will dry beautifully.
Step 3 - Bronze
With its subtle gold reflection and soft-focus finish, Glow, the Bronzer in this palette is the perfect shade for the Australian summer. The Blending/Contouring Brush or White Fan Brush will deposit the perfect amount of this luminous bronzer onto the face for a soft, bronzed highlight. You could also use it as a contour on fair to medium skin tones.
Makeup Tip: Brushing it across the chest and onto the shoulders will give added glamour to any outfit for the festive season.
Step 4 - Finish
Moonlight, our star highlighter and finishing powder, delivers a perfect soft-focus finish with a slightly more matte yellow pearl than the other powders in the palette. This powder can be delicately swept over your base with the Chisel Powder Brush or Handi Brush to finish your makeup and add a soft pearl veil.
Makeup Tip: Use the Blending/Contouring Brush to apply more powder to the skin for a more intense highlight.
Staying true to the jane iredale way, each powder in the Illuminating Lights Face Palette contains Boron Nitride, the “Rolls Royce” of minerals and Mica, which provides glide, shimmer, diffuses light and creates the appearance of luminescence.
