The mad rush 2-minute makeup

Only have a couple of minutes to put your face or eye makeup on or only want a quick fresh look before you workout, here’s our guide to fixing your face fast…

Step 1. PRIME

It’s quick to do and will give you a long lasting finish to your foundation, yes priming needs to be part of your daily routine. We recommend SMOOTH AFFAIR® FACIAL PRIMER & BRIGHTENER; you’ll moisturise and prime your skin in one easy step. Packed with antioxidants your skin is instantly transformed into a conditioned and luminous look. Simply dab half a small pea-size amount of product onto the forehead, nose, chin and cheeks and massage into skin using the Blending Brush or your fingertips.

Step 2. FOUNDATION

Next up, cover and protect with one of our fabulous five mineral foundations, the choice is yours. We recommend a quick application of AMAZING BASE® SPF 20 or PUREPRESSED® BASE SPF 20 for even looking coverage. Use the correct brush and sweep foundation over the entire face, including your ears and neck. You can use your powder as a concealer, if you need extra coverage in problem areas. The flocked sponge works a treat for PurePressed powder and the Deluxe Shader Brush is a great tool to apply Amazing Base Loose Powder in target areas.

Step 3. LASHES

For an instant eye lift and high impact, coat your lashes with Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara. Formulated with triple strength cellulose fibres, this tube adds extra length and thickness, fast! Apply to top lashes and wiggle brush at the roots of the lash, for extra lift and all over colour.

Step 4. CHEEKS & LIPS

Add a flush of colour to your lips and cheeks with one versatile product, our JUST KISSED® LIP AND CHEEK STAIN in Forever Peach. With just the right amount of translucent colour, this all-natural stain adjusts to your own chemistry for an irresistible peach shade that will flatter your skin’s undertone. Apply to the apples of the cheeks using the Foundation Brush or tap onto cheeks using your ring finger, blending both outward and upward towards your ear. Next, pair lips with cheeks by applying this product all over your lips for a beautiful peach-tone pout.

Take your two minute makeup look to the next level, perfect for the office, a day with your girlfriends or school pick-up. All you’ll need is an extra 3 minutes. Yes, you can look fresh faced in just 5 minutes.

Step 5. BROWS

Groomed brows make such a difference to the overall appearance of your makeup. Frame the eyes by using the BITTY BROW KIT®. Start by applying the transparent wax with the angled brush provided and outline the brow to perfect the shape. Apply the wax in fine strokes, resembling hairs, to the sparse areas in your brows. Next define shape and add extra depth and colour by applying the brow powder. Comb brows upwards and outwards to evenly distribute product and set your brows in shape.

Step 6. EYESHADOW

Using the shimmery copper gold, ‘Tea on The Porch’, in the new GETAWAY EYE SHADOW KIT, apply as a single colour wash over the entire eye lid. You could also try Supernova or Dreamy Pink PurePressed eye shadow. Use the Crease Brush to blend through the natural contour of the eye socket.

Step 7. HIGHLIGHTING

To give your complexion the makeup artistry finish, use our famous QUAD BRONZER. It’ll create a soft sheen and give your skin an instantly healthy glow. Moonglow contains four universal neutral golden shades, that can be used individually as eye shadows, lip colour or blush; alternatively, you can mix the four shades together as an all over bronzer using the White Fan Brush. For a quick application, when you only have five minutes for your entire face, we recommend using the Dome Brush and mixing the two lightest shades for highlighting.  Apply to the high planes of the face –  lightly on each side of the forehead, on top of  the cheek bones, down bridge of the nose, above the cupids bow and a little on the chin. Be sure to work brush around in light circular motions on your face so that the product is evenly blended. Fresh dewy skin is now yours!

10 MINUTES

To ramp up your five minute makeup look, you simply need to spend some extra time on your eyes. Here’s how you can take your basic eye makeup look to the next level…

Step 8. EYES

Add a darker shade to your colour wash (step 6), the ‘Starry Night’ eye shadow shade from the limited edition Getaway Eye shadow kit, is an intense matte black with a very fine jet milled gold sparkle, perfect for creating a more intense look to your shadow.  Apply it to the outer corner eye lid, sweep colour through the crease keeping colour on the outer edge of the eye. Don’t forget to add some depth to your lower lash line. Use the Mini Dome Brush and your darker shadow, reach up under the lower lashes and run brush along the lash line to create a diffused smokey eye liner effect.

Step 9. EYELINER

Define your eyes and add depth to your lashes using the Angle Eyeliner Brush with the JELLY JAR™ GEL EYELINER in Espresso. Apply a thin line along the top lash line, this gorgeous shimmery grey brown gel liner is smudgeable and stays-put. Yes you can work out with liner on ladies!

Step 10. LIPS

Add shine to your lips with a coat of Bellini or Nectar PUREGLOSS™ LIP GLOSS, these shades compliment Forever Peach Lip and Cheek Stain without compromising the colour. The look, a natural peachy nude finish.

Step 11. SPRITZER

Finish with a spritz of HYDRATION SPRAY. Set your minerals and to give your skin a dose of healthy, anti-aging botanicals and antioxidants.
