Fresh Faced for the Weekend with jane iredale

Talented makeup artist, Liv Lundelius shares with us her top tricks to create a natural and stunning look that is perfect for all of your weekend activities.

If you haven’t noticed lately, 90% of current high fashion editorials and campaigns showcase the ‘no-makeup-makeup look’, and it’s here to stay. It’s all about fresh skin, well groomed, full brows and a youthful glow.

COMPLEXION

If you are already blessed with great skin, dab on a little Dream Tint Tinted Moisturiser to give your skin a smooth finish. If you need more coverage use concealer and set with PurePressed Base Powder. Be selective and only apply coverage where you really need to (blemish, pigmentation, redness etc.) The more translucent the skin, the better!

You can brighten the eye area with Active Light Under-eye Concealer. You can also dab on a hint down the bridge of your nose and on top of the cupids bow to create a natural looking highlight. Use In Touch Highlighter on your cheeks. Set your makeup with Organic POMMISST Hydration Spray for a hydrated, natural look and long lasting finish.

EYES

Brows are important for all makeup looks but even more so when it comes to this very minimal look. To create luscious full brows and keep them in place use the Bitty Brow Kit. Apply Lid Primer to your upper lid, to even out the skin tone and create a subtle highlight. Using an eyeliner brush, run the smallest amount of Jelly Jar Gel Eyeliner in Espresso, onto the roots of your lashes for a subtle definition. Apply a little black or brown mascara and brush the lashes through for a very natural finish. I like to dab a little clear gloss or a light shimmer eye shadow in the inner corners of the eye to finish.

LIPS

A tinted balm is all you need to keep your lips looking fresh and hydrated. Try jane iredale LipDrink SPF 15 Lip Balm in Buff, Crush or Sheer.
