Why Every Woman Needs a Pot of Shimmer Dust

Shake up your makeup and shine in 2016! Take your look from naturally nude to pro artistry with a little shimmer that enhances your features. Perfect for a relaxed day look, or as an intense night out showstopper. We share 20 of our favourite ways to get the most out of one pot of shimmer dust.

Eyes:

1. Pat your favourite shade into the middle of the eyelid using your fingertip to create a subtle but radiant eye. All our shimmer dust shades will work.

2. For a metallic effect, spritz your brush with your favourite Hydration Spray, then press into your pot and apply to the eyelid. High intensity shine!

3. For a smooth smoky effect, apply the Black Jelly Jar Gel Eyeliner then use a dampened Smudge Brush to overlay the 24-Karat Shimmer Dust in Gold or Silver.

4. To create a vintage look, apply Champagne Silk or Brown Silk Eye Shere on the eyelid and layer Bronze 24-Karat Gold Dust on top. Using the Black Jelly Jar Gel Eyeliner draw a winged line along the upper lash line and apply Longest Lash Mascara.

5. For a striking gold eye, start with Lemon Lid Primer, and then press Gold 24-Karat on top. Finish with Black Onyx PureLash Mascara on top and bottom lashes.

6. For a super model golden brow, apply PureBrow Brow Gel to the brows. While wet, apply Gold 24-Karat Gold Dust using the Detail Brush.

Face:

7. To create a luminous highlight, dust the Gold or Silver shimmer powder onto the top of the cheekbone with the White Fan Brush.

8. With the shade of your choice mix a small amount of 24-Karat Gold Dust with Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener or Smooth Affair for Oily Skin and apply with the Blending Brush to give an all over glow.

9. For a warm, radiant look mix your favourite shade of 24-Karat Gold Dust with any shade of In Touch® Cream Blush on the back of your hand, using the Foundation Brush, apply to cheeks. We love the champagne shade for rosy looking cheeks!

Body:

10. Apply all over your body a mixture of Bronze 24-Karat Gold Dust and Tantasia for a vibrant, glittering bronze.

11. Mix the shimmer dust with your favourite body oil to add a beautiful sheen to your skin.

12. Use the Silver or Gold shades on your collar bones to emphasise and define for a sexy candlelit glow.

13. To spice it up on a night out apply the 24-Karat Gold Dust with your favourite powder brush over your shoulders and décolleté for that sought-after sensual feel and look.

14. Apply to earlobes for an unexpected dazzle that complements your favourite braid, pony or up-do.

Lips:

15. With your favourite lip gloss applied, press your 24-Karat Gold Dust into it. This will add dimension and develop a shimmery look.

16. Tap Gold or Silver into the centre of the lower lip with your fingertip, and then apply your go-to lip gloss to make the lip appear fuller and shinier.

17. Apply a small amount of Forever Pink, Forever Peach or Forever Red Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain to the lips and cheeks then blend in a small amount of Gold or Silver 24-Karat Gold Dust for a bright and hydrated look.

 Hair and nails:

18. To liven up your highlights, mix a shade of 24-Karat Gold Dust into your favourite hair product.

19. Paint nails with your favourite colour. While the polish is still wet, sprinkle a small amount on the half moon area of your nail. Shake your hand once in a downward motion to spread down the nail, creating an ombré effect. Finish with a topcoat.

20. Rub 24-Karat Gold Dust into your natural nail bed and apply a clear nail polish to seal.
