I don’t have oily skin (more like combination/aging/acne prone), but I wanted to see if this spray would make my Jane make up a little less “glowy.” I have texture and scarring on my face, and although the “illuminated” look is very beautiful, I just can’t pull it off because it really accentuates my imperfect skin. The pommist and regular smooth affair primer (under purepressed) make me look extremely shiny, tending toward oily as the day goes on. SO I purchased the oily skin primer as well as this setting spray. Between the two of them, I think it really helps, and my makeup stays more consistent throughout the day, rather than getting shinier. I also ended up getting the matte finishing powder, which really does help to cut the shine. This combo is really working for me. I find the smell light and refreshing, and not lingering.

Delightful smell, and doesn’t feel

Delightful smell, and doesn’t feel heavy or tacky on my face. Kept makeup in place all day. I use in the morning to set my makeu, and then mid day to refresh my skin.

I recently switched to the balance hydration spray. I like the very light scent and the finish does not leave me too dewy and I don’t have the sheen on my forehead after a few hours of working like I used to with Pommist.
