PureMatte® Finish Powder Refill Ⓥ

For years I've been looking for a powder for my face because I don't wear foundation. I tried so hard to find a powder to match my skin tone and often would fail. I would also get small break outs and it was just a nightmare. I was recommended this product when I went for a facial two years ago as the place had a little store that sold Jane Iredale products. I liked this product because it matches my skin perfectly and no break outs. It feels natural and I look natural which is the part I like.

Best I’ve ever used.

I got lucky and received this product for free during a promotion with the purchase of other items but I’m definitely gonna be back to pay full price on it once I run out. It doesn’t “show” on the skin at all, not powdery or heavy. It simply eliminates shine and stays all day. Doesn’t settle in lines. Perfect!

I use this after I moisturize. It does a nice job in covering up my flaws before I apply suntan foundation.

Makes a perfect foundation for natural days, and is great for touch ups later in the day! Matte finish feels light and lasts for 6+ hours even in the summer! Only complaint is it is a bit dark/yellow for my fair skin. I wish they would bring back the purple tinted version!

I like this powder in the summer when oiliness is a problem. I also use it in my purse for touch-ups all year long. It’s light and very blendable but keeps my skin fresh looking.

I have used the pure matte powder for a couple of years and just love the coverage and sheer finish that it gives my foundation. It lasts a long time and I feel confident that I look my best. I highly recommend this product.

I recently decided to move away from powdered makeup containing Talc, so I decided to give this a try as a replacement for the Estée Lauder Stay in Place Powder I use over my foundation. I have always wanted to try a translucent powder. So far I really like it. I use it over my Estée Lauder Doublewear liquid foundation. I have seen many reviewers say that they think it isn't translucent. I think that it may provide extremely sheer coverage, but it may just be that using any powder (translucent or not) is going to slightly alter the way your skin appears. Either way, I think it looks beautiful and works well with my light skin tone (for reference I apply it over my liquid Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation - the shade I wear is Ecru). I am very glad I ordered this, and so far I love all the JI products I have began using!

Love this finish powder! I like to use it over just moisturized skin and over base makeup BB cream foundation. It tones down the shine and helps my cream blush to stay on. My skin absorbs color and my blush usually disappears after a few hours, not when I use this powder! This is a keeper for me.

Gives a soft finish and absorbs excess oil. I've used this with all Jane Iredale foundations and it works well with everything.

Works very well to take care of that mid day shine.
